During COVID, my husband started working in the family business in West Flanders. We have since fully taken over the company, and combining that responsibility with living in Antwerp was no longer feasible. As we weren’t ready to part with our beautiful home, we chose to rent it out first. During the renovation, we consciously preserved its original charm. The commercial space is a major asset, allowing you to combine living and working without compromising privacy. Having a garage in the city centre is also a huge plus: no need to search for parking after work, just drive in – a real comfort. The house offers very pleasant space, with ample storage and high ceilings. From morning until noon, we enjoy the sun on the rear terrace, spacious and surprisingly quiet for such a central location. In summer, we also enjoy the green treetops on the square. Finally, the location is superb: between the MAS Museum and the historic centre. Everything is within walking or cycling distance: cafés, restaurants, shops… all nearby.
