Description

In the heart of Boechout, nestled behind lush greenery and adjoining the forest, this remarkable manor house from 1875 offers approx. 300 m² of living space, a 140 m² outbuilding with a professional kitchen, and nearly 5,000 m² of land — a rare blend of timeless charm, space, and contemporary comfort.

Meticulously renovated in 2014, the home honors its original soul: the decorative façade, soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and the original grand staircase form a stunning architectural centerpiece connecting all floors.

The Cubex kitchen, a culinary hub, features top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances, a Falcon range, Miele steam oven, professional extractor, and terrazzo flooring.
First floor: two large bedrooms, a third smaller room, a laundry room, and two tastefully finished bathrooms.
The second floor is home to a sublime master suite, fully renovated in 2017, with built-in wardrobes, air conditioning, a private terrace overlooking the garden, and a personal sauna for the ultimate wellness experience.
Also included are a bright home office and a dry cellar, perfect as a wine cellar or extra storage.

The outbuilding is a standout feature: a high-end professional kitchen on the ground floor, and a fully independent studio above — ideal for an au pair, student, or guests.

An extraordinary blend of heritage, luxury, and functionality — a true must-see.

The garden is the greatest asset of this magical place: so much greenery, so many trees, so much park, so much romance...
The owners,

owner speaks out

The garden is without a doubt the crown jewel of this magical property — lush greenery, countless trees, a park-like ambiance, and a romantic atmosphere. The ideal place to host parties and welcome friends. Occasionally, a lost deer wanders into the garden, and each year the same pair of ducks return to nest by the pond, raise their ducklings, and — when the time comes — help them take flight. It’s a bit like our own children, who grew up here in freedom and joy. Every summer, their friends stayed over, tents scattered across the garden for a two-day celebration.
With so many nooks and hidden spots, there’s always space for privacy. Yet you’re far from isolated. The home is right in the heart of the village: we walk to everything — the bakery, butcher, school, supermarket, pharmacy, cafés, and restaurants.
Step out the back, and you’re instantly in the woods and meadows — perfect for long walks with the dog. Public transport (train, tram, bus) is just around the corner, so we never had to play taxi for the kids — a huge bonus! Some say this house was originally a summer retreat for the wealthy, and you still feel that: each summer, it truly feels like a holiday at home.
Others claim it was once a "house of pleasure" — and that too, we can wholeheartedly confirm.
