Description

A villa in the cosy Hertebos neighbourhood, popular with young families. Central but quiet living at cycling distance from the village, close to schools and with the tennis club, nice restaurants and Hof Ter Linde domain around the corner.

This modernist home by Turnhout School architect Paul Schönberger was lovingly renovated in 2016.
In the spacious entrance hall, you immediately notice how generous the light here is everywhere along domes and skylights. In addition to fitted cupboards and a guest toilet, you will find a separate desk to work in peace.

Through the steel door you enter the open-plan living area. The large kitchen island is the ideal place to cosy up while cooking on the Viking fire. Get a bottle of wine from the wine cellar! A pantry and laundry room with door to the garden follow.
You can have a nice meal in the breakfast corner with a view of the garden or in the dining room.
The living room has a cosy yet spacious feel thanks to the high ceiling. Settle down in front of the gas fireplace or head for the covered garden terrace. Thanks to the fireplace, this is a space to enjoy all seasons.

In the garden, you have privacy, space to romp around and a garden shed to store bikes and garden equipment.
On the 1st floor you will find 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a terrace where you can have a quiet morning coffee. Next is a spacious dressing room and bathroom with double washbasin, bath and shower. The children's bedrooms share a bathroom with sink and shower.

owner speaks out

'When looking for this property, the location was as important to us as the house itself. So we couldn't believe our luck when we found a stylish villa in this golden district. The children play here carefree together in the street or in the neighbour's garden. It is very quiet and green here, but not isolated: we always cycled to the village and you are also close to the major approach roads, so it is easy to get to the city by car. At weekends, you could often find us in Hof Ter Linde around the corner where you can go for lovely walks. At the fireplace on the covered terrace in the garden, we had the most memorable evenings. Delightful moments we experienced here!'
