Renovated eclectic town house

On the renowned Lemméstraat between Robert Molsstraat and Van Schoonbekestraat, close to the "Hof van Leysen" park, the well-known approach roads, public transport and shops. Residential location yet a few minutes from the city centre.

The house was designed by architect Jules Hofman and dates from 1912. It is part of an ensemble of three houses. The moulded facade consists of cream-coloured Silesian bricks in cross bond finished with a bluestone plinth. The wooden joinery of entrance doors and windows has been entirely preserved.

In the interior, authentic elements such as precious ceiling work, exceptional mosaic tiles, unique ornamental fireplaces, original doors and original wooden floors.

The house has been restored and updated to contemporary realities.

The floor plan corresponds to the classic typology of the bourgeois house with a main volume and a narrow rear extension.

On the glvl a lounge, dining room and kitchen. On the following floors living spaces or bedrooms. On the second floor a cosy terrace for sunbathers. The top floor could serve as a separate studio. (Possibly for rental?)
