Description

A few metres from the Harmonie and Albert Park, trendy sites of Fosbury & Sons, Brewery de Koninck and creative hotspot Pakt, and at the same time close to many cosy restaurants and cafés, public transport, shops and roads. A dream location.

With its red brickwork, this stylish art deco building immediately stands out in the street scene. The building was commissioned in 1933 by physician J. Notteau and designed by architect Joan Coninck Westenberg. Residents enjoy a communal courtyard garden.

Handsome art deco entrance hall with stairs in marble or a lift taking you to the fifth floor. At the elegant front door, note the art deco elements that would not be out of place in a contemporary design. Warm, authentic herringbone parquet flooring throughout almost the entire app adds atmosphere and cachet. In the afternoon, sunlight pours in abundantly even into the hallway.

In the kitchen and the scullery, the SMEG cooker and ditto fridge may remain. This space can still use some finishing touches and can therefore be completely transformed to your liking. The bathroom was already renovated in 2011: beautiful mosaic tiles and bright white bathroom furniture make this place a paradise for Zen seekers.

At the back, 2 more quietly located, spacious bedrooms on the same beautiful herringbone parquet as in the rest of the app. Add the already present double glazing and basement, some painting or extra finishing here and there and you have a very charming home - ideal for starters!

owner speaks out

Were we not spending most of our time in Mexico City, we would never sell the app. We have always loved living here. To bring the sun - and yes, a touch of Mexico - into our home, we chose bright wallpaper in the living space and a touch of colour in bathroom and kitchen.

What is especially cool here is that you are close to everything. Want to go to the green, go into town, out of town, go to the supermarket, antique shopping or have a coffee at a trendy site? It's all possible here! You're everywhere in the blink of an eye. Add to that the stylish art deco elements of the apartment building and we were finally sold....

Because we are here so little, we have been renting out the app for the last few years. So this is also a smart move for investors.
