Description

On Jan Van Rijswijcklaan, one of the main approach roads from the south to the city centre, and thus also easily towards Boom and Brussels. Next to Bank Delen, with a rugby and hockey club on the doorstep, close to deSingel, Antwerp Expo. By bike or tram you're in the city centre in no time.

In this small-scale building with clean architectural lines, you take the lift to this timelessly elegant flat on the 3rd and top floor. Separate entrance hall and on the street side the bright living space with lounge and dining area, oriented to the east: blissful setting for a brunch in the first rays of sunlight or the weekend newspaper with a coffee at hand... The extra room off the living area, now office, can easily be converted into a spacious bedroom thanks to the separate door to the entrance hall.

To the rear is the modern kitchen, with plenty of storage space and finished in natural stone. Here you sit separately but always stay in touch with what is happening in the living space. The terraces are nice bonuses: at the front you can enjoy the morning and afternoon sun with panoramic views over the green avenue and Wilrijk squares. On the terrace at the kkn, in turn, you are treated to wide, open views over the neighbourhood gardens and the Delen bank building.

The large bedroom also has plenty of natural light. The beautiful bathroom in classy terrazzo was only renewed in 2022. Separate toilet. Finally, a private cellar and a convenient underground parking space are also included in the asking price.

owner speaks out

We enjoyed living in this unique 1957 flat for five years. The soothing view of trees along Jan van Rijswijcklaan and nearby parks, combined with the seamless connection between the different spaces, made for a special home experience. The practical layout with large rooms and two spacious bedrooms, one of which served as a home office, made it extra comfortable. Harmony doors offered maximum flexibility by closing off this room from the living space.

Its central location near motorways, public transport and Middelheim Park made this discovery all the more valuable. Looking back on these five beautiful years, we cherish the memories of a time when this was not just a house, but a real home.
