Description

Majestic director's residence.

Twenty minutes from ANTWERP, forty minutes from BRUSSELS. In the village of Niel, close to the Rupel, beautiful walking paths, public transport, schools, nurseries and the A12 motorway.

An incredible property in neoclassical style with ornaments such as oval medallions, laurel guirlandes and volute consoles, high ceilings with molures, marble fireplaces, large wooden doors, impressive entrance hall and a vaulted cellar. The plastering of the facade and the predilection for order and symmetry also underline the character of the house.

The house was completely stripped and restored with respect for the authentic elements. It meets all modern comfort requirements with double glazing, an insulated roof, renewed electricity, new sanitary fittings and new kitchens.

Currently, the property is used as a combined living/working space with an accounting office on the ground floor and a home on the first floor. Fiscally interesting and possible as it is two cadastral units.

A kangaroo home is also ideal! On the ground floor the grandparents' home: entrance hall, bedroom, spacious living room with adjoining dining room and then kitchen, next to it the bathroom. The first and second floors arranged as the home for a family with three children. First floor: large living room with dining room, new designer kitchen and office room. Second floor: three large bedrooms, fourth smaller bedroom and bathroom.

The house is surrounded by a sunny lawned garden, a separate garage and the old warehouse at the back.

The possibilities are endless. Single-family home, kangaroo home, B&B, office, home with office/practice combo, antique shop or party room.

Call for a visit.

For the restoration, we hired professionals.
De eigenaar, Lieve,

owner speaks out

Originally, my husband and I were looking for a property on the sides of Hove, Kontich and Aartselaar. We wanted to live green and accessible towards Antwerp and Brussels.

We came across this property by chance. My husband went cycling with friends along the Rupel river and passed here. At that time, the house was being operated as a standing banquet hall for chic receptions and parties under the name "Rupelhof".

On the first visit, we were completely blown away. On the one hand, we were heavily impressed by the special look and authenticity of the property. On the other hand, we thought about the renovation and the associated costs. After a few sleepless nights, we decided to ask my parents if they were up for co-housing. They were immediately over the moon!

For the restoration, we hired professionals. Everything was tackled! The house was restored from basement to roof into an absolute gem!

It is an ideal property for someone who loves history and elegance.
