Description

Living on the Entrepotkaai means living in one of Antwerp’s most iconic locations. From the fifth floor, you enjoy a panorama that never stands still: the MAS, the Scheldt with passing cruise ships, and the Cathedral of Our Lady as the absolute focal point of the skyline. The immediate surroundings offer top gastronomy, museums, boutiques, parks, a marina, and cozy coffee bars, all within walking distance. Despite the vibrant neighborhood, you experience a rare sense of tranquility here, thanks to the height, the light, and the open views.

Some places are not just homes, but living experiences. This apartment, designed by Christine Conix and located in the prestigious Koninklijk Entrepot, is exactly that: a masterfully refined space where light, silence, and views take center stage.

Via the spacious entrance hall, the characterful elevator, and the elegant staircase, you reach the fifth floor, where the view immediately leaves you in awe. The Museum aan de Stroom, the Scheldt with its constant activity, and the iconic Cathedral of Our Lady together form a living backdrop that is constantly changing.

The concept was deliberately conceived as a generous living apartment for a couple that chooses quality, tranquility, and architectural clarity. No fragmentation into unnecessary rooms, but an open and airy design in which every line feels right. Thanks to the large windows, the interior is bathed in natural light throughout the day.

The beating heart of the apartment is the high table: the place for breakfasts, work, conversations, and long evenings, always with a view of the water and the city. The finishes are minimalist, warm, and exceptionally well thought out. Sleek built-in cabinets provide abundant storage without visual clutter, allowing all attention to go to the panorama and the space.

The kitchen is refined and discreet, with Corian cover panels that allow the sink area to disappear completely, blending seamlessly into the whole. The interior is intentionally reduced to what truly matters: a central seating area, a characterful sofa, and a few strong elements that enhance the space.

Finally, there is a cellar and the possibility to purchase a spacious underground garage box.

The owner,

owner speaks out

When we purchased this apartment, we were immediately captivated by Christine Conix’s vision. The space, the natural light, and the view are so powerful that you can almost feel them physically. We consciously opted for an open living concept without unnecessary rooms, allowing the calm, the panorama, and the architecture to fully shine. The high table has always been the heart of our daily life: breakfasting, meetings, conversations, enjoying moments together — always with a view of the MAS, the Scheldt, and the city. The cruise ships passing by make the view different every single day. The kitchen is subtly present and can be completely closed off thanks to the Corian cover panels, allowing the space to remain one clear, harmonious whole. We have enjoyed living here intensely for ten years. Now, we proudly pass it on to someone who shares the same love for openness, light, and quality.
