The house was planned optimally. It is slightly further down on the ground and faces perfectly south. The orientation together with the large windows provide a sea of light and give a blissful ambience in the house.
Moreover, it is also a practical house with great ease of maintenance and plenty of storage space, making order and cleanliness a quick reality. The underfloor heating gives a pleasant and even temperature in every room, controllable per room and pleasant to the feet.
The architecture of the house leans heavily towards the Turnhout school. We were completely crazy about this. So we opted for this modernist, rectilinear style typical of the 1970s. Simplicity and light prevail.
The garden is a delight. The entire plot is framed with rhododendrons, ensuring privacy. The garden also requires little maintenance. At the back, we have a section of woodland that requires absolutely nothing to be done. We are regularly visited by free-roaming animals: squirrels, deer, all kinds of birds, pheasants, ducks... Always a wonder.
