Description

Jogging with a view of the skyline. Mussels on St Anne's. Sailing on the Galgenweel. Tennis courts next door. Through the pedestrian tunnel, by ferry, bike or tram straight to the centre. Left Bank always feels a bit like a holiday.

This beautiful house (HOB) catapults you back to the swinging sixties. Split-level living space, lots of light, large windows, fireplace... Everything here breathes 100% cosiness and originality. The atmospheric entrance hall with handsome staircase in a light tunnel leads to 3 bedrooms and a bdk (with shower). You will also find a cloakroom and guest toilet.

The mezzanine above the living room is ideal for a cosy reading corner or study. Between the living and dining area and the practical kitchen you will find another nice spot - perfect for reading the newspaper, having breakfast or an aperitif. Furthermore, a spacious utility room (incl. service door with access to the house) and a cellar. Space in abundance!

In the magical garden you enjoy maximum holiday feeling with minimum maintenance. The swimming pool is bliss on a hot summer day. At the back, additional storage space for bikes, barbecue... and the pool's technical installation.

Behind the kitchen there is an extension with access to the garden: an enclosed paradise with dressing room, bedroom and luxury bdk finished in white marble with bath and walk-in shower. Here you step straight from your bed into the (swimming) bath. And always warm feet: under the grey cast floor is underfloor heating.

Solar panels cover almost all energy consumption here.

We live in a blissful cocoon a stone's throw from the city.
Patricia and Pierre, the owners,

owner speaks out

Every day we enjoy a very special holiday feeling here. This is because of the special, incomparable atmosphere on the Left Bank, but certainly also because of the house. From anywhere in the house you look out onto the garden. As a result, daylight streams in from all sides, which is a really nice and relaxing feeling. We always say that 'we live in a blissful cocoon a stone's throw from the city'.

And the icing on the cake? Our garden! It really is a haven of peace - and extremely low-maintenance, to boot. This leaves us more than enough time to go for sports in the neighbourhood, or to the city for dinner or an evening of culture, which is wonderful.
