"Originally, I'm from Kapellen. My husband is from Wilrijk. We lived in a loft in the city for years. Our dream was to combine the energy and life of the city with the peace and quiet of a commune. Considering we wanted to start having children, a garden was also very important.

My in-laws live around the corner and knew about the sale of this house. We had to react very quickly. The Elsdonck is so sought-after that house sales here are incredibly fast. Especially for Antwerpers working in Brussels, the location is ideal. What's more, you're still very close to the city.

The house dated from 1955 and needed a thorough renovation. We called in an architect to optimise the house. We installed a new kitchen. Integrated a modern bathroom. The linen room was installed. We made fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. We discussed every detail in detail.

Today, I am super happy with the result!

Meanwhile, we have a 2-year-old son. He really enjoys the garden and the peace and quiet. I myself am looking for a new challenge. I have my eye on a new renovation project...hence.....
