'It's not just the prime location that makes us love living here. The landscaped south garden with minimum maintenance and lots of colour variation in the trees is also an absolute bonus. Moreover, we fully enjoy the neighbours' tall trees.
The house is not overlooked, so you are completely private. The original parquet floors and beautiful gold leaf ornaments, fully restored to their original 1870s state, add to the warm, cosy atmosphere. Plenty of light streams in through the many windows everywhere, all rooms have a spacious, open feel and the fireplace in the lounge is also a great bonus. It makes cold winter evenings super cosy.
One of our favourite spots is the library with bay window, where you have a view of the Visserij, Lousbergskaai, Boekentoren and the church of Nieuwen-Bosch. From the mega-sized window in the kitchen, in turn, you can see how the garden changes through the seasons.'
